Next, take a cable car and glide across the Yangtze River to the Huguang Guild Hall. Here, delve into the rich history of the Yangtze River region and its economic evolution.
Witness a light-rail train going through a building, a spectacle unique to this mountainous city. Continue your exploration at the Goose Neck Park, where you’ll marvel at the time-honored Chinese gardens and the historical consulate sites.
Conclude your day at Hongyadong, an unmissable hotspot in Chongqing. Indulge in retail therapy, relish the local snacks, and soak in the mesmerizing night view.
Drive to the Wulong region in the morning for about 3 hours.
Your destination is the breathtaking Wulong National Park, a dazzling showcase of southern China’s karst landscape. The park is home to three natural stone arch bridges and two colossal sinkholes, making it a geological marvel. Dedicate a few hours to leisurely exploring the valley floor, capturing the stunning vistas in your camera.
After visiting, drive back to Chongqing.
Embark on a journey to the Dazu Rock Carvings, the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Chongqing. Crafted between the 9th and 13th centuries, this site offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient spirituality and craftsmanship. After your visit, catch a bullet train to Chengdu.
