Day 1Arrive in Hong Kong

After arrival at Hong Kong airport, your guide will meet you to check in at your hotel and have some time on your own to relax or explore near your hotel.

Day 2Hong Kong | Free and Leisure
Breakfast

Enjoy a free day in Hong Kong to do some shopping or sightseeing. Hong Kong is a heaven for shoppers, high-end fashion, funky styles, and other choices are around every corner.

Most of the famous attractions are close to the city center, such as Victoria Peak, Avenue of Stars, and Wong Tai Sin Temple. They are easy to access with the public transportation.

Day 3Hong Kong to Guilin | Bullet Train
Breakfast

Later in the morning, you’ll board the high-speed bullet train to Guilin, completing the journey in just 3 hours.

Day 4 Guilin | Longji Terrace Field and Making Bamboo-tube Rice
Breakfast & Lunch

Today we head to Ping’an Zhuang Village, which is about 2 hours’ drive from Guilin. The village is known for its beautiful scenery, traditional wooden houses, and terraced rice fields.

Take an electric car up to the mountain and get to the viewpoints for a great view of the terraced fields. Get down the mountain, then visit a local minority family. Chat with the family and walk around their traditional wooden house, learn about mountain ethnic people’s life. Learn how to make bamboo-tube rice as well as cook it the local way.

Day 5Guilin to Yangshuo | Li River Cruise and Yangshuo Countryside
Breakfast & Lunch

You will cruise downstream from Guilin to Yangshuo, to see the picturesque landscape. Bamboo groves, jagged, sharp-edged hills like broken teeth, a wide placid river, and peaceful farm and village terrain. During cloudy days, the hills are surrounded by mist and tourists may feel they are cruising in a mystical paradise.

Yangshuo’s countryside is known for its idyllic scenery, and oddly-shaped hills thrusting to the sky. Your guide will show you around the countryside with the rice paddies and the mountains during the 1-hour biking.

Day 6Yangshuo to Shanghai | Cooking Class
Breakfast & Lunch

Join a cooking lesson at the picturesque Xia Tangzhai village. The Village is located by the Yulong River. Some houses in the village have a history of 200 years. Exploring the local market, and cooking authentic Guilin cuisine with the help of the teacher.

You will be taken back to Guilin for your flight to Shanghai. Transfer to your hotel and rest for the day.

Day 7Shanghai | The City Highlights of Shanghai
Breakfast & Lunch

Start your day by visiting the Bund and Shanghai Tower. The iconic waterfront area is known for its historical buildings and stunning views of the city skyline.

Explore Yuyuan Garden. This traditional Chinese garden features beautiful scenery, pavilions, and ponds. Located next to the Yuyuan Garden, the Yuyuan market is a fun place to shop for tea, jewelry, scarves, souvenirs, and local snacks.

End your day with a walk along Nanjing Road, one of Shanghai’s busiest shopping streets, where you can shop, dine, and experience the nightlife.

Day 8Shanghai to Xi’an | Zhujiajiao Water Town and Tea House
Breakfast & Lunch

Visit a water town near Shanghai city. Zhujiajiao Water Town has hundreds of years of history. Thousands of examples of Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty architecture lie on the sides of the lakes and the 36 stone bridges retain their ancient style.

Have a break and enjoy a cup of tea and local snacks at a tea house. Experience the relaxing and exquisite lifestyle in the south of the Yangtze River.

Drive to the airport then fly to Xi’an this afternoon.

Day 9Xi’an | The Secret of Terracotta Warriors and City Wall
Breakfast & Lunch

Start your day by visiting the extraordinary Terracotta Army, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the world. Your guide would explain how and why the warriors and horses were created. After this, your family would learn to make your own clay warriors with expert local artisans at a local cave dwelling.

The ancient city wall is a major landmark, and the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China.

Explore the Muslim Quarter. The narrow streets were lined with shops selling traditional handicrafts, souvenirs, and, most famously, a wide variety of street food.

Day 10Xi’an to Beijing | Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xi’an Museum
Breakfast & Lunch

The Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a stunning multi-eave, brick structure with fifteen stories, features black stone-framed doors on its north and south sides. The intricately carved arhats and grass designs on the lintel showcase the exquisite artistry of the early Tang Dynasty. Don’t miss the opportunity to ring the bell for blessings and good luck.

Xi’an Museum is just near the pagoda. This museum collectively reflects the long history of Xi’an City, integrating with the small Wild Goose Pagoda, the national key protection culture unit, the ancient building groups of Janfu Temple, and the modern culture relic exhibition hall.

Experience the speed of China by taking a high-speed train from Xi’an to Beijing, which can reach speeds of up to 350 km/h.

Day 11Beijing | Forbidden City and Summer Palace
Breakfast & Lunch

Beginning with Tian’anmen Square, which is the largest city square in the world and can hold about one million people for public celebrations or gatherings.

Then visit the Forbidden City. Your tour guide will help you explore 12 carefully-selected places in the Forbidden City, while other group tours often visit only 6-8 spots briefly. You will learn some background on the city’s architecture, history, fengshui and art.

After lunch, you will visit the Summer Palace and take a relaxing boat trip on Kunming Lake.

Day 12Beijing | Great Wall and Temple of Heaven
Breakfast & Lunch

Temple of Heaven, which is seen as the most impressive imperial temple. You can also see the local people enjoy activities such as tai chi, kite flying, and traditional Chinese music performances within the serene and picturesque surroundings of the park.

After lunch, visit the Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall. The section is known for its well-preserved condition and beautiful scenery. At the Wall, you have 2-hour free time to walk around, after your guide does some introductions. Round-way cable car would be arranged for you to save time and energy.

Day 13Beijing | Departure
Breakfast
