If you’re a true foodie, you can’t miss the chance to sample a variety of tempting cuisine in Jinli Old Street. With the help of your local guide, embark on a gastronomic journey!
Head to Dongjiao Memory, a buzzing street area famed for its distinctive industrial architecture, vibrant livehouses, trendy shops, and abundant coffee spots. It’s a haven for young enthusiasts, who can be found effortlessly taking chic photos throughout the area.
Admire the illuminated night view of Anshun Bridge, then return to your hotel or enjoy some free time at the nearby Jiuyanqiao Bar Street.
Take a 1.5-hour drive from the city to Dujiangyan Panda Valley to witness lively giant and red pandas. In the red panda release area, you can observe red pandas at close range!
Known as Chengdu’s most attractive bookstore, Zhongshuge Bookstore uses mirrored ceilings to create an expansive, Hogwarts-like haven ideal for photography enthusiasts.
Though both are giant projects, the Great Wall no longer serves its original purpose and remains as historic ruins. In contrast, the Dujiangyan irrigation system, over 2,000 years since its inception, continues to protect against floods and irrigate the fertile Chengdu Plain. Visit this place to uncover the secrets of this magnificent project.
Finally, take photos of the giant selfie panda sculpture in Yangtianwo Square and back to Chengdu.
The Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site, stands as the world’s largest stone statue at an impressive 71 meters. This stunning work of art and faith has a rich history of over 1,200 years.
We offer two viewing options to visit the Giant Buddha: a boat tour, which allows you to appreciate the full view of the Buddha and take photos, or a walking tour, offering a closer look at the intricate details of the sculpture.
After the visit, you will be transported to a hotel in Mount Emei in preparation for the following day.
Mount Emei, another World Cultural and Natural Heritage site, offers stunning natural scenery and a plethora of temples that provide insight into Buddhist culture. Its Golden Summit is known for providing the opportunity to witness four natural wonders: sunrise, the sea of clouds, Buddha’s light, and the holy light.
Take a sightseeing bus and after a half-hour walk, take a cable car to Mount Emei’s Golden Summit. As you hike, you’ll see many naughty wild monkeys–keep an eye on your bags and pockets, as they might snatch your food or belongings!
After the tour, retreat in your private vehicle to Chengdu City.
