Welcome to China! Your guide, who is experienced in leading student groups, will meet you in the arrivals hall at the airport. Your group will be transferred to your hotel on our comfortable bus.
Morning:
Start your day with a visit to the Shanghai Municipal History Museum, where you can explore the rich tapestry of the city’s past through engaging exhibits and artifacts.
After immersing yourself in history, head to the Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China, to witness breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline from its observation deck. Then take a leisurely stroll along the Bund.
Afternoon:
As the sun begins to set, embark on a relaxing Pujiang Cruise, where you can enjoy the shimmering lights of the city as they reflect on the water.
Finally, end your day in the charming Former French Concession Precinct, where you can wander through tree-lined streets, admire the unique blend of Eastern and Western architecture.
Morning:

Explore the community exhibition hall, stroll through China’s first high-line park, and learn to make pastries or wrap wontons with local residents. Enjoy an authentic lunch at the community canteen.
Afternoon:
Explore the fascinating exhibits at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, where you can engage with interactive displays and learn about the latest advancements in science and technology.
You will have the chance to shop at the Science Museum’s Underground Shopping Center, featuring various tech products like smart devices and robots. Students are encouraged to choose meaningful items for their team and practice their Chinese skills while bargaining.
Morning:
Arrive in Suzhou after a two-hour drive. Explore the Lingering Garden, an elaborate succession of small gardens, renowned for its exquisite design and beautiful landscapes. You will learn to make a bonsai from a skillful master who has 10 years of experience.
Afternoon:
Take the opportunity to visit the charming Tongli Watertown, which has a history of over one thousand years. You will see picturesque canals, ancient architecture, and a rich cultural heritage. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the serene streets, savoring the local cuisine and immersing yourself in the history of this captivating area.
Morning:
The driver will take your group to the train station for the bullet train to Hangzhou, escorting you all the way to the boarding gate.
Take a cruise on the West Lake and listen to interesting stories behind the sights, and discover the magic of this place for yourself!
Afternoon:
Discover the intricate carvings and sacred relics that adorn the halls of this revered Lingyin temple, experiencing a sense of tranquility and reverence. Continue your exploration to Feilai Feng(Flying Peak), a striking limestone formation that rises dramatically from the landscape.
Strolling along the Qinghefang Pedestrian Street in the late afternoon. Browse through eclectic shops, taste savory local delicacies, and immerse yourself in the historical allure of this bustling marketplace.
Morning:
Picking tea leaves at Meijiawu tea garden, the place of origin of the best tea in China — West Lake Dragon Well tea. After tea-picking, the tea farmer will show you the process of stir-frying tea. Then enjoy the tea made by yourselves.
Afternoon:
The Song City is the largest theme park of Song culture all over the country. The streets, bridges, and shops here are all built in the style of the Song Dynasty. Put on a hanfu and embark on a journey through time.
Morning:
The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal plays an important role in the development of Hangzhou. Students will first enjoy a leisurely cruise to get a general idea of the Grand Canal. They will then visit a cluster of museums to gain a deeper understanding of Hangzhou’s historical development and culture.
The cluster of museums includes the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, the China Knives, Scissors, and Swords Museum, the China Fan Museum, the China Umbrella Museum, the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, and the Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion. You will have a chance to paint your own oil-paper umbrella at the Workmanship Demonstration Pavilion.
Afternoon:
In the late afternoon, venture to the Xiaohe Street Historic Block. This quaint neighborhood brings the past to life with its picturesque architecture, winding alleyways, and traditional storefronts.
After a buffet breakfast at your hotel, your guide and driver will make sure you get to the airport on time and without any stress. Say goodbye to China and take some awesome memories home.
