Suggested Itinerary
Please check the general itinerary for the whole day. Your guide may adjust the itinerary and tour time based on the weather, transportation, and your requirements.
Your private guide will be waiting for you at the airport, train station, cruise port, or hotel lobby according to your schedule.
Your first stop is the Dujiangyan Panda Base, where you can see traces of Po, the protagonist from the movie, in the lively pandas here. Located near Qingcheng Mountain, this place is adorned with lush greenery and fresh air, offering the ideal climate and natural environment conducive for pandas to live. This panda base is situated far from the city center with fewer visitors, allowing you a better opportunity to observe the pandas.
It is best to go early in the morning to see the pandas feeding, as they are more active.
Enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine in a local restaurant. Taste the dumplings and noodles loved by Po. Have a short rest during the private 1½-hour drive to Mount Qingcheng.
Mount Qingcheng has many Taoist temples and historical sites along winding paths. The scenery of Panda Village in Kung Fu Panda 3 is incorporated with verdant trees, thick fog, green moss on the roofs, and other natural elements. If you’re a fan of Kung Fu Panda, you can certainly find the natural scenery and architecture depicted in the movie while exploring the mountain.
Mount Qingcheng is also listed as a World Heritage Site. Taking a cable car up and down, you will leave the busy world behind and climb above the mist to see the gorgeous mountain.
After waving goodbye to Po’s hometown, your guide and driver will escort you back to your hotel in Chengdu city.
