Suggested Itinerary

DAY 1: Chongqing Arrival

Upon your arrival, your guide and driver will warmly welcome you at the airport or train station entrance and escort you to your hotel in Chongqing.

DAY 2: Chongqing | All-In-One City Highlights

Start your day in Shancheng Alley, a place imbued with the distinctive character of Chongqing, where traditional residences meet a riverside walkway with stunning Jialing River views, punctuated by Western-style buildings.

Experience authentic hotpot dining in a former bomb shelter! The shelters naturally provide a cool retreat, offering a stark contrast to the city’s typically hot and humid climate.

Proceed to Goose Neck Park, where traditional Chinese gardens and local leisure activities captivate.

Capture the unique sight of a light rail crossing a building at Liziba Station and marvel at the enigmatic Kuixing Building, where the first and 22nd floors coexist.

Venture into the heart of the city at Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, a hub for shopping and gastronomy.

Conclude your day at Hongya Cave, a dazzling 11-tiered stilt house complex. Illuminated at night, it offers stunning views of the city skyline, Qiansimen Bridge, and the two rivers.

DAY 3: Chongqing to Wulong | Hiking in Wulong Karst Formation

Embark on a three-hour journey to the captivating Wulong region in the morning, ready to immerse yourself in the natural splendors of Wulong National Park.

Stand in awe of the Three Natural Bridges, a mesmerizing karst formation that has graced the silver screen in Transformers 4. This awe-inspiring trek spans 3 kilometers, with grand natural bridges and sky holes punctuating your journey, and a sprinkling of stairs to challenge your steps.

In Longshuixia Gap, experience the thrill of navigating through a naturally formed, deep, and narrow canyon. Feel the spray of a majestic waterfall that cascades from a cliff a hundred meters high, a spectacle so close you can almost walk through it.

DAY 4: Wulong to Pengshui | Fairy Mountain and Furong Cave

Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, often likened to ‘Eastern Switzerland’ due to its vast grasslands and lush forests. A delightful mini-train ride is available, offering a respite from walking.

Marvel at the majesty of Furong Cave, a million-year-old limestone marvel filled with rare, radiant stalactites illuminated by vibrant lights.

After your exploration, a one-hour transfer will escort you to your hotel in the Pengshui area.

DAY 5: Pengshui to Chongqing | Wujiang Gallery and Ancient Town

Savor a one-hour antique-style boat cruise along the most picturesque stretch of the Wujiang River, known as Wujiang Gallery. In the sun’s glow, the river winds like a shimmering emerald ribbon around mountain bases, framed by unique canyon peaks for a stunning landscape.

After disembarking, a one-hour drive will transport you to Gongtan Ancient Town, a historical gem with over 1,700 years of history. Here, traditional cliffside courtyards and stilt houses are preserved, with ancient cobblestone paths and tiered steps adding to the charm of these old-world lanes.

After visiting, a 3-hour drive will return you to Chongqing.

DAY 6: Chongqing Departure

Relish a private transfer to the airport or railway station, ready to journey to your next destination or return home.
