Three Train Types on Shanghai – Hangzhou High-Speed Rail Routes
There are three types of trains running on this rail route: daytime high-speed G trains (250-350 kph or 155-217 mph), daytime high-speed D trains (200-250 kph or 124-155 mph) and high-speed D trains (200-250 kph or 124-155 mph) with sleeper berths. Among them, high-speed D trains with sleeper berths are only available on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Shanghai Hongqiao Railway StationThere are three Shanghai terminals and three Hangzhou terminals for these high-speed routes: Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, Shanghai Railway Station, Shanghai South Railway Station, Hangzhou East Railway Station, Hangzhou South Railway Station and Hangzhou Railway Station.
